This is a vintage Milliefiori, hand blown Murano glass Butterfly pendant by Alan K. These were flown over from Los Angeles many years ago and left untouched until now. We are bringing you a stunning and rare piece of jewellery. Each piece of Alan K jewellery is 925 sterling silver, it is rhodium coated and is stamped on the reverse of each piece with the signature of Alan K himself! Only 100% authentic Murano glass is used in the making of these mini works of art. The pendant is 3.3 cm x 3 cm approx.

Millefiori, a combination of the Italian words “mille” (thousand) and “fiori” (flowers), is a type of Murano glass that has been incorporated with various layers of colours to create beautiful flower-like patterns. It is completely handmade of authentic Murano glass from the island of Murano in Italy. The Millefiori collection offers a dazzling array of fine jewellery featuring animal motifs and other pleasing designs.

Alan K, is the mastermind behind the Millefiori, Millacreli, Designo and now additional exclusive stunning lines, Authentico, Signature and Exquistie.

Alan K’s career has taken him all around the world, which has formed him into a skilled expert on the art of jewellery making.
He learned all aspects of jewellery making and the jewellery business, by starting at an early age in the Middle East.
Continued study at jewellery art schools in France and Cyprus as well as Monaco to create jewellery designs for various companies.
It wasn’t until 1985 that Alan K. finally settled in Los Angeles.
